“The Maas enters the Netherlands here.” The Maas village of Eijsden is located on the Belgian border, south of Maastricht. This one-and-a-half-hour walk goes through the Eijsder Beemden nature reserve with beautiful views and continues into the nationally protected core of the village. This protected village view also includes a visit to the castle park. At the end of the walk, there is an opportunity to have a drink on the terrace of Café Ut Kelderke.
